Self-Evolved Observers as Attractors in Semantic Meme Field Theory
We present a unified mathematical framework—Semantic Meme Field Theory (SMFT)—in which the observer, long a foundational mystery in physics, information theory, and cognitive science, emerges as an attractor in a high-dimensional semantic field. By deriving the dynamics of collapse from a hybrid action principle, we rigorously define the self-evolved observer (Ô_self) as a recursive, memory-driven field operator rather than an external postulate. This formalism bridges quantum measurement, artificial intelligence, and consciousness, showing that wherever field dynamics, memory, and feedback interact, observer-like structures and experienced realities inevitably arise. The resulting framework dissolves the distinction between reality and simulation, unifying physical law, cognition, and information in a single, predictive theory of collapse and observation.
