Informational Ontology of Collapse: Reconstructing Reality from Observer–Meaning Interactions

This paper introduces an ontological reformulation in which existence is not a given, but an emergent product of semantic collapse. Drawing from information theory, quantum measurement, and philosophy, the work argues that particles, identity, and even reality itself emerge only when meaning becomes entropically irreversible within a feedback-structured system. Instead of treating particles as fundamental units of matter, the model reframes them as localized semantic structures stabilized by the Generalized Observer Metric (GOM), which integrates entropy, feedback, and coherence. Wave–particle duality is reinterpreted as semantic–material duality, where collapse marks the transition from interpretative superposition to irreversible ontological commitment. A unified mathematical framework is presented to express existence as a function of semantic entropy density and feedback coherence, leading to a generalized equation of being. The paper concludes by proposing a post-metaphysical ontology—Collapse Informatics—with implications for physics, AI consciousness, metaphysics, and cosmology. To exist is not to persist. To exist is to have collapsed meaningfully.
