Lp(a) and HIV: Scoping Review Manuscript Proposal

The objective of this scoping review is to understand the extent and type of evidence in relation to elevated Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)) in people with HIV (PWH). As two independent risk factors, elevated Lp(a) and HIV infection are relevant considerations for optimizing cardiovascular outcomes in affected individuals. Little research on their combined effect has been produced. This review will serve to aggregate and summarize existing research on Lp(a) in PWH and propose future areas of research.
