Statistical Power and Optimal Design for Equivalence Tests in Randomized Controlled Trials

This project extends the conventional equivalence testing method to designs with covariate adjustments to improve statistical power. It has also developed and validated closed-form statistical power formulas for equivalence tests in randomized controlled trials. This OSF site contains R codes and results to replicate the simulation study and the illustrative example for the paper.

Abstract

This project extends the conventional equivalence testing method to designs with covariate adjustments to improve statistical power. It has also developed and validated closed-form statistical power formulas for equivalence tests in randomized controlled trials. This OSF site contains R codes and results to replicate the simulation study and the illustrative example for the paper.
