Factors associated with in-hospital mortality due to Acute Myocardial Infarction in older adults: an integrative literature review

This integrative literature review aims to identify and analyze sociodemographic, clinical, and structural factors associated with in-hospital mortality due to Acute Myocardial Infarction in older adults. The study follows the methodology proposed by Whittemore and Knafl (2005) and includes a comprehensive search in five international and regional databases. Findings are expected to contribute to evidence-based strategies in geriatric cardiovascular care and public health policies.
