Community Engagement and Involvement (CEI) in Public Health Interventions in South Asia: A Scoping Review

Community Engagement and Involvement (CEI) plays a vital role in the success of public health interventions, particularly in complex and diverse socio-cultural settings like South Asia. While CEI is widely acknowledged in theory, the practical application, effectiveness, and context-specific challenges of CEI in public health programs across South Asia including Sri Lanka, are not well mapped. This scoping review will synthesize available evidence to understand how CEI is implemented, what outcomes are reported, and what factors influence its success in the region.
