Research Materials for AI-Generated Video Experiment: Scripts, Scales, and Supplementary Analyses

This repository contains experimental materials for studying knowledge flow barriers using an innovative approach of AI in video production as part of the methodology. We wrote scripts (human-derived) based on validated measures, created manipulation checks, and YouTube links from the AI-derived videos to use as experimental stimuli. The collection features validated psychological measures for bottom-line mentality, zero-sum beliefs, and ostracism, along with reliability coefficients and administration instructions. Supplementary analyses provide detailed statistical results examining how cognitive mindsets and belief systems interact to influence perceptions of exclusion, with participant engagement data validating the AI video experimental approach.
