Recursive Acceleration: The Temporal Ascent Model and Cognitive Leverage
Recursive Acceleration: The Temporal Ascent Model and Cognitive Leverage This project introduces the Temporal Ascent Model (TAM)—a cognitive framework designed to accelerate personal and strategic growth by intentionally engaging recursive cognition. Rather than viewing insight as a forward-only consequence of experience, TAM enables individuals to project present understanding backward—reinterpreting past experiences to gain momentum in the present. The model outlines a repeatable three-step process: Insight Acquisition Intentional Temporal Projection Accelerated Forward Execution TAM draws upon existing theory in recursive selfhood (Hofstadter), memory architecture (Kahneman), narrative psychology (McAdams, Bruner), and neuroplasticity (Doidge). It is positioned as a practical tool for leaders, strategists, coaches, and high-performance individuals seeking to shorten feedback loops and operate with greater clarity. This archive contains the full paper, supporting diagram, and future extensions of the model.
