The primary objective of this scoping review is to map the literature on the role of public health systems in the control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases in Sub-Saharan Africa. Specific objectives include: • To identify the types of public health system interventions that have supported NTD control and elimination in the region. • To assess reported progress made through integration, policy, and service delivery innovations. • To explore persistent system-level barriers affecting the implementation and sustainability of NTD programs. • To identify gaps in the literature and areas for future research.
