Selective endodontic retreatment – clinical and imaging foundations: a scoping review and metasynthesis

This study aims to evaluate the clinical and imaging-based foundations supporting selective endodontic retreatment, assessed through success rates and changes in periapical lesions. Secondary outcomes include the influence of imaging techniques, particularly CBCT, on treatment decisions, functional improvement, and follow-up duration.
