Artificial Intelligence Tools for Enhancing Endodontic Diagnosis in Imaging Exams: A Scoping Revie

This scoping review investigated the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance endodontic diagnosis in imaging exams. The search was conducted in four databases (PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Web of Science) using a comprehensive strategy related to AI and endodontics, resulting in 101 studies included. The articles were categorized into nine themes, such as periapical pathologies, root fractures, and pulp diseases. The findings highlight the potential of AI to improve diagnostic accuracy in endodontics, despite challenges like the need for training and time for implementation in clinical practice.
