BA THESIS:BLACK DOLLS AND WHITE DOLLS FROM 1940 THROUGH 1970:THEIR IMPACT THEN ON BLACK AND WHITE CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT

Description: This project manuscript evaluates the influence of dolls on black and white children in American Society between the periods of the 1940s to the 1970s. A number of groundbreaking and pioneering research studies have been cited in the research to provide a comprehensive analysis of the influence of dolls on the id-psychology of black and white children. The studies conducted by renowned behavioral scientists such as Clark and Clark(1947); Radke and Trager(1950); Stevenson and Stewart(1958); Oppenheimer(1968); and Hraba and Grant(1972),(1976) to name a few whose conducted studies test results have been the iconasized basis for the federal and state revolutionary civic and civil overturning of segregation and discrimination in black and white America; became the manifold that adjudicated the justification for the mandated standardized establishing of inter-socialization patterns of communication between black children and their white peers and the tournicate for qualifying the indepth purging of self-devaluing messages of self-hatred towards the black persona. With the antiauthorhetical uprisings of revolutionary communitization and supplementation of a binarial polariate encoded commune-antethic institutionalization for an associoteric symbiocytic formalysis of communitization that encoded the realization for equalizing the black and white personas through the transpersonification of social messages taught and modeled through the transparent reality of black and white childrens sociological awarity to their bisolate depairabilitating environments; added the need for reinforcement for black and white children to self-identify with the more realistic and psyche-socially positive relating images of mass marketed black and white doll mannequite aesthetics that equated the positive images of the black dolls with the positive images of the white dolls for both black and white children to relate to individually and symbiotically. Therefore, in retrospect; this research manuscript theoretically analyzes the sociological timeline through a journey of identity testing and social change for both black and white children from the 1940s through the 1970s that existentially sequesters in 21st century delivery of modern day race relations between black and white children and youth with the association to the mass marketing of social equality reflected in the imagery modeling with the black and white dolls of today that has resoluted from the evidence of the past as to being the fundamental reason for the need for change.
