The Impact of Parenting Programs for Parents in Prison: A Systematic Review
This systematic review builds on prior studies that highlight the potential benefits of prison-based parenting programs. By synthesizing available research, this review aims to assess the impact of these programs on both parent and child behaviours and , social and emotional well-being. It focuses specifically on interventions for currently incarcerated parents and their children, excluding studies unrelated to incarceration or lacking sufficient outcome data. The ultimate aim is to address the question: What is the impact of prison-based parenting programs on both parental and child outcomes?
