COMPOSITE RESIN VENEERS AND THEIR VARIOUS TECHNIQUES: A SCOPE REVIEW OF THEIR APPLICATIONS IN DENTISTRY
The pursuit of dental treatments that combine effectiveness and aesthetics has driven the use of dental veneers as a conservative solution. Among the most commonly used materials, composite resin stands out for its versatility, affordability, and ability to deliver both functional and aesthetic results. This study aimed to review the available scientific literature on techniques for fabricating composite resin veneers, exploring their clinical indications, mechanical properties, advantages, and disadvantages. In addition, the study sought to identify gaps in the current knowledge on the subject. A scoping review will be conducted following the PRISMA protocol. Relevant studies were selected from databases such as Scielo, PubMed, LILACS, and Cochrane, using clearly defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data extraction and analysis will be carried out to map key trends, challenges, and innovations in the techniques for producing composite resin veneers
