Locally Grown Culturally Important Foods and Immigrant Health in High-Income Countries: A Scoping Review Protocol
A scoping review was conducted with the aim to map and characterize the existing evidence on the accessibility and health impact of locally grown culturally important foods among immigrants in high-income countries, while identifying gaps in research and opportunities for future interdisciplinary study. Literature published in English on a scientific database between January 1st, 2000 to March 13th, 2025 was eligible for inclusion. Three electronic databases (PubMed and Web of Science, and PsycINFO) and Google Scholar were used as primary search sources. The project aims to guide inclusive food policy planning in local food movements.
