Big Data Capability as Strategic Assets on Enterprise Value Creation Mechanisms

In the digital era, big data capability is one of the key factors for enterprises to achieve sustainable development and maintain a competitive advantage. In order to explore the impact of big data capability on the development of enterprises, the article applies meta-analysis to explore the relationship between big data capability and enterprises and explores the moderating variables (antecedent, mediator, and outcome variables) that affect the relationship. A total of 33 papers and 14993 independent samples were included in the meta-analysis criteria identified through a literature search. The test for heterogeneity indicated that a random-effects model was the appropriate choice. The funnel plot, Egger's test results, and insecurity coefficient results show that there is no publication bias in the meta-analysis of this paper; the main effects test found that big data capability is moderately and significantly positively correlated with firms. The moderated effects test found that there is a moderately significant positive relationship between big data capabilities and enterprises. Meanwhile, this relationship was moderated by the antecedent and mediating variables but was not significantly affected by the outcome variable.
