Subtle Affective Deficit Evaluation (SADE) Protocol

The Subtle Affective Deficit Evaluation (SADE) Protocol is a scenario-based assessment tool developed to identify subtle deficits in remorse, guilt, and empathy, particularly among high-functioning and manipulative individuals. This project includes the main manuscript, empirical validation document, and interrogation workflow, providing a complete open-access package for researchers, clinicians, and forensic professionals. All supplementary materials—including validation matrices, offender language anchors, and step-by-step field administration guides—are provided to support transparency, replication, and field use. The SADE Protocol is openly licensed (CC BY 4.0) for adaptation and further validation by the global research community.
