Influence of the IMF elevation angle on midday auroral intensity during northward IMF
The auroral event data are obtained from the Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics (TIMED)/Global Ultraviolet Imager (GUVI) observations, and dayglow has been further removed from the aurora. These events contain auroral energy flux (Fluxd), number of orbits (Orbitd), magnetic latitude (MLATd), magnetic longitude (MLT), universal time (iDoYd). Data ending with '0' are before dayglow removal, while those without '0' are after further dayglow removal. The Index_minute is OMNI 1-min Data. Doy indicates the day of the year. UT indicates the universal time. Bx, By,Bz are in the geocentric solar magnetospheric (GSM) coordinate system. Vsw, Dsw and Psw are indicate solar wind flow velocity, solar wind density and dynamic pressure, respectively.
