Extension of the Layer Theory of Spacetime: Quantum Gravity

This paper extends the Layer Theory of Spacetime ( https://www.researchgate.net/publication/391448989_The_Layer_Theory_of_Spacetime_A_Novel_Hypothesis_on_the_Structure_of_the_Universe ), to address quantum gravity, a central challenge in physics. By quantizing the layer displacement fields, the theory avoids non-renormalizability issues of traditional approaches. A natural Planck-length cutoff, linked to layer compression in black holes, regulates quantum divergences. Detailed derivations demonstrates how the effective metric reproduces Newtonian gravity and the weak-field limit of General Relativity. The work aims to provide a consistent, testable framework for unifying gravity and quantum mechanics. Feedback and collaboration are warmly invited to further develop this model.
