Iodine(III)-Mediated Photochemical C–H Azolation
A systematic\nradical polarity analysis framework is formulated\nherein for the projection of radical reactivity patterns. An iodine(III)-mediated\nphotochemical C–H azolation reaction has been envisaged and\ndeveloped based on the set of empirical guidelines. The synthesis\nfeatures an environmentally benign reagent, mild reaction conditions,\nan operationally simple protocol, and a broad substrate scope. The\ninclusive demonstration of reactivity for ether, thioether, amide,\nbenzylic, and allylic C–H bonds promises wide-ranging synthetic\nutility.
