Flexible Dual Band Matching Solution for Diverse Complex Loads
In this work, we propose a scheme to match a wide range of complex loads at two uncorrelated frequencies to any standard loads. A wide range of frequency ratios is used for impedance matching here, which also accounts for unavoidable fabrication issues. The study utilizes two sections for the matching network where individual sections match the real and imaginary parts of the complex loads separately. The prototype, fabricated on RT/duroid 5880 substrates, lies in good proximity to the matching networks intended for the current 5G frequency band of 2.4 GHz as well as the coming $5 \mathrm{G}+/ 6 \mathrm{G}$ bands that are expected to operate on approximately 5.8 GHz commercially.
