This gathering was dedicated to the theme "Towards Civilized Global Society Through Integrating Sustainable Environment and Smart Education".The primary objective of this international conference is to provide for scholars, researchers, and intellectuals from different parts of the world to further their discussions on Smart Environment in Global Society, Tradition and Sustainable Environment Protection, Environmental Risk Assessment, Smart Learning Environment, Communication and Technology Adoption, Language and Smart Education Technology.It is hoped that the participants' insightful contributions to these themes will highlight the contemporary trend taking place in the development of sciences and technology today.The conference was held by Online, from 7 th to 8 th August 2024.ICENSE 2024 provides a forum for academics, academicians, and practitioners in the fields of environmental sustainability and education technology to collaborate and exchange cutting-edge discoveries in their respective fields of expertise.We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all ICENSE 2024 participants for their dedication in submitting their manuscripts and for fully engaging with the review process.We are also grateful to the committed reviewers who devoted their time and effort to evaluating the submitted papers.Without your relentless dedication, this event would not have been possible.We are grateful to Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) for making this meeting possible.Lectures deserve special recognition.
