Copper(I)-Catalyzed\nAsymmetric Nucleophilic\nAddition to Aldehydes with Skipped Enynes
The\ndevelopment of sustainable and novel strategies for constructing\ncomplex chiral molecules with versatile transformation potential is\na long-term pursuit in the chemistry community. We report a copper(I)-catalyzed\nenyne addition to aldehydes under proton-transfer conditions, unlike\nprevious examples which were limited to the use of preformed reactive\nnucleophiles containing allylic heteroatoms or electron-withdrawing\ngroups. This protocol provides an efficient platform for installing\nchiral allylic alcohol moieties with a broad substrate scope and high\nregio-, stereo-, and enantioselectivity.
