A Modular Three-Component\nApproach for Site-selective\nTandem Arene Thiophosphorylation
Thiophosphates serve as pivotal reagents within the realms\nof both\norganic and inorganic synthesis, with their most notable applications\nobserved in agricultural chemistry. This manuscript delineates a modular\nthree-component synthetic strategy for site-selective arene C–H\nthiophosphorylation with thianthrenium salt, 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane-sulfur\ndioxide (DABSO), and diarylphosphine oxides as substrates. This approach\nfacilitates the metal-free and green synthesis of a diverse spectrum\nof <i>S</i>-aryl phosphorothioates through C–H functionalization\nand late-stage modification showcasing practicality and broad applicability.
