A Hydrogen-Bonded\nOrganic Framework Based on Triphenylamine\nfor Photocatalytic Silane Hydroxylation
Employing hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks (HOFs) as\nmild photocatalysts\nfor organic conversions is still considerably challenging. In this\nwork, we synthesized a hydrogen-bonded organic framework (HOF-16)\nand achieved the photocatalytic oxidation of silanes to generate silanols.\nConsidering the constraints imposed by the framework structure, a\nsignificant improvement in the efficacy of singlet oxygen (1O2) generation is observed. HOF-16 exhibits remarkable\nphotocatalytic performance when it comes to silane hydroxylation,\ndisplaying high efficiency, low catalyst loading, and good recyclability.\nThis research highlights the immense potential of HOFs in the realm\nof organic photocatalysis.
