Cooperative\nImmobilization of Transition-Metal Clusters\ninto Kagome-Type Metal–Organic Framework for C2H2/CO2 Separation
There has long been a pursuit for a metal–organic\nframework\n(MOF)-based adsorbent for various hydrocarbon separations. Herein,\nwe utilized simple trimesic acid and 1,2,4-triazole, together with\nthe heterometallic strategy to produce two quaternary MOFs with a\nkgm-type structure. The cooperative coordination allows the immobilization\nof metal clusters into the pore channels, creating an appropriate\npore size and high density of open metal sites. The resulting material\nshows excellent C2H2/CO2 separation\nperformance with good stability.
