Abstract

Graphene\nchemical vapor deposition (CVD) growth directly on target\nusing substrates presents a significant route toward graphene applications.\nHowever, the substrates are usually catalytic-inert and special-shaped;\nthus, large-scale, high-uniformity, and high-quality graphene growth\nis challenging. Herein, graphene-skinned glass fiber fabric (GGFF)\nwas developed through graphene CVD growth on glass fiber fabric, a\nWidely used engineering material. A fluid dynamics rectification strategy\nwas first proposed to synergistically regulate the distribution of\ncarbon species in 3D space and their collisions with hierarchical-structured\nsubstrates, through which highly uniform deposition of high-quality\ngraphene on fibers in large-scale 3D-woven fabric was realized. This\nstrategy is universal and applicable to CVD systems using various\ncarbon precursors. GGFF exhibits high electrical conductivity and\nphotothermal conversion capability, based on which a natural energy\nharvester was first developed. It can harvest both solar and raindrop\nenergy through solar heating and droplet-based electricity generating,\npresenting promising potentials to alleviate energy burdens.
