Mild and Chemoselective\nTriethylsilane-Mediated Debenzylation\nfor Phosphate Synthesis
The synthetic utility of tetrabenzyl pyrophosphate for\nachieving\nchemoselective phosphorylation of phenols, as well as primary, secondary,\nand tertiary alcohols, is reported here. Additionally, we introduce\na rapid, mild, and chemoselective debenzylation procedure, enabling\naccess to phosphates in the presence of redox sensitive groups. Finally,\nstoichiometrically controlled monodebenzylation provides a versatile\nplatform for late-stage divergent synthesis of phosphodiester and\nphosphoramidate chemical libraries.
