Spin Hall Effect\nof Light in a Dichroic Polarizer\nfor Multifunctional Edge Detection
In this study, we report a multifunctional edge detection\nstrategy\nbased on the spin Hall effect of light in a dichroic polarizer. By\nleveraging the uniaxial properties of a dichroic polarizer, it is\npossible to achieve second-order edge-enhanced imaging, two-dimensional\nedge-enhanced imaging, and bright-field imaging. Our approach employs\nthe dichroic polarizer to generate the second-order spin Hall effect\nof light and selectively filter out unwanted polarization components,\nsimplifying the experimental setup compared with previous methods.\nThis strategy offers an economical and efficient solution for multifunctional\nimaging.
