Configurazione di un ricevitore STONEX SC600+ per l’utilizzo su reti GNSS discrete

The use of discrete GNSS (Global Navigation Satellites System) geodetic networks for the monitoring and study of ongoing deformations in areas of seismological and volcanological interest has had considerable development since the 1990s. Data from discontinuos geodetic networks have proven to be fundamental for the study of the seismic source and of the coseismic and post-seismic effects during the most important earthquakes that have hit Italy starting from the Umbria-Marche sequence of 1997 [Amato et al., 1998]. The tools used for geodetic data acquisition on the discrete networks managed by the National Earthquake Observatory (ONT) have followed the technological development of the main manufacturing companies (Leica, Trimble, Stonex). In this Technical Report will be described the configuration for using Stonex SC600+ receivers. These intruments are supplied to different sections of the INGV (ONT – Roma1); they were chosen for their technical charactistics of reliability and versatility and also allow remote management through a web interface (ex. acquisition parameters), via the built-in modem. The SC600+ receiver allows a wide configuration of many parameters in order to characterize the acquired data, depending on the needs of the project. Currently the Functional Unit of the ONT “Laboratorio di Geodesia” uses the SC600A receivers for the stations of the MefiteNet network (FURTHER, INGV departmental project) and the SC600+ receivers for the SalinaNet network (CAVEAT - Pianeta Dinamico project) and Majella network (PEACE project DL50).
