Photoinduced\nAutopromoted Ni-Catalyzed Three-Component\nArylsulfonation Inspired by Density Functional Theory/Time-Dependent\nDensity Functional Theory-Simulated Photoactive Nickel Species
The structure of the novel photoactive nickel species\nwas simulated\nby density functional theory (DFT)/time-dependent density functional\ntheory (TD-DFT) calculations. The application of the simplified photoactive\nnickel catalyst was demonstrated in a photoinduced nickel-catalyzed\nthree-component arylsulfonation of 1,6-enynes. This reaction was autopromoted\nand proceeded in the absence of an additional photocatalyst. This\nmethodology exhibited mild conditions, a broad substrate scope, and\nhigh efficiency.
