Base-Promoted Aminoamidation\nof Cinnamoyl Chlorides\nwith Aryl Amines: Access to β‑Amino Amides

Herein, a base-promoted strategy for the synthesis of\nβ-amino\nacids derivatives from α,β-unsaturated acyl chlorides\nderivatives and aryl amines has been described. In the presence of\ntriethylamine, a tandem Michael addition and nucleophilic substitution\nprogress was generated. The current method features readily available\nraw materials, mild reaction conditions, high atom economy, and wide\ntolerance for the coupling partners.
