experimental study of window regulator bumper stop for noise reduction through impact energy method
The window regulator system plays an important role in providing the smooth and quiet operation of automotive windows. One of the major challenges in its performance is the noise generated during the lower stall condition, which can affect the overall vehicle comfort and customer satisfaction. This project focuses on optimizing the bumper stop component of the window regulator system to reduce operational noise through Impact Energy method. The study involves evaluating various geometry modifications of the bumper stop and analyzing their impact on internal energy absorption, which serves as an indirect indicator of noise performance. Using advanced computer aided engineering tools.
