Understanding the Consumption Behavior of Arab countries ’s Alpha Generation
Comprising individuals born after 2010, Generation Alpha emerges as the first truly digital-native consumer segment, distinguished by their innate technological fluency, ethical consumption patterns, and growing sway over household expenditure. Within the Arab world, this demographic's consumer behavior develops at the intersection of three critical forces: accelerating digital transformation, deeply rooted cultural norms, and marked regional economic variations. Utilizing a triangulated research methodology that combines qualitative investigations (including focus groups and in-depth interviews) with quantitative survey data, this study systematically examines the principal determinants of consumption patterns among Arab Alphas. The research identifies three primary behavioral drivers: (1) pervasive social media engagement, (2) strong familial mediation in consumption choices, and (3) increasing environmental consciousness. These empirical insights inform the development of regionally- adapted marketing approaches designed to effectively connect with this influential yet understudied consumer group.<br>
