The Universal Entangled Collapse Field UECF
This work introduces the Universal Entangled Collapse Framework (UECF), a testable hypothesis proposing that the scalability of quantum error correction (QEC) is fundamentally limited by the exhaustion of physical resources, not solely by theoretical noise thresholds. The framework formalizes a Collapse Threshold Index (CTI)—measured through coherence time, gate fidelity, power dissipation, and noise correlation—as the empirical boundary at which error correction fails, regardless of code redundancy. UECF translates well-known engineering challenges into a unified, operational criterion and provides detailed experimental protocols for immediate validation or falsification on current quantum hardware. The framework is fully open for community testing, replication, and model refinement. While UECF’s broader relevance to other complex systems is discussed as a future direction, its primary focus is on quantum error correction. This work aims to accelerate scientific understanding and collaborative benchmarking of resource-driven failure in advanced quantum and computational systems.
