[Dataset] Scenario-based volcano slope stability hazard analysis: Case study of Augustine Volcano, Alaska
This dataset is associated with the Scenario-based volcano slope stability hazard analysis: Case study of Augustine Volcano, Alaska. The .zip files contains 3 subfolders. The subsurface_layer_files subfolder contains the following files:
layer_*.asc are layer files used as input in the slope stability analysis. * is the layer number. layer_1.asc and layer_2.asc contain the lowest elevation at each grid cell where the zone of strong fractured igneous rocks extend until in the central and north-western parts, respectively.Resampled_dVp_*m_UTM.asc files contain resampled and reprojected horizontal sections of P-wave velocity anomalies at Augustine volcano generated by analyzing the seismic tomography model of Koulakov et al. (2023). * represents the elevation of the horizontal section above sea level. These files were used to generate the layer files.
The raw_input_files subfolder contains the following files:
Land_ASCIIUTMClippedDEM_1arcsec_USGS_1_n60w154_20191001.asc is the reprojected and cropped digital elevation model used in this study, derived from the 1 Arc-second DEM from the USGS National Map 3D Elevation Program.*.scp files are input files for Scoops3D describing the input parameters used in each run. * is the RunID. These files can be used to reproduce all the results of this study through the Scoops3D program, including the factory of safety maps, new DEM's indicating the least stable slope, and search quality files. The raw_output_files subfolder contains the following files:
*_out.txt files are output files from Scoops3D runs summarizing the main results. * is the RunID.
