Key Practices to Improve the Food Environment for Families in Temporary Accommodation across LondonBoroughs
This report highlights some good practices that can improve the food environment of families in temporary accommodation across London boroughs - particularly families with young children who face significant barriers in meeting their dietary needs. I led this project as a PhD researcher at the Centre for Food Policy at City, University of London, in collaboration with the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (London Region), Greater London Authority, London Councils, NHS London, The Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency (GCDA) and Sustain, the alliance for better food and farming. These collaborators formed the project’s advisory group, providing valuable feedback and guidance throughout.
