Cyclodinus constrictus (Curtis, 1838) is a halophilic, ant-like, flower beetle that occurs mainly in the coastal areas of the western Palaearctic. In Europe, it is rare in the north, but it is known from the Atlantic coast of France, the south coast of England and the southwest part of the Netherlands. Some specimens were collected along the Belgian coast for the first time in Lissewege in 2022 and Nieuwpoort in 2023.
