Design and Implementation of an Automated Grade and Account Inquiry Machine for Students.pdf
Abstract: This study focused on the development of an application software designed to automate the retrieval and printing of student information—specifically grades, class schedules, and account balances—through a coin-operated slot machine, activated by a five-peso coin. Utilizing the developmental research method, the study adopted the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model to guide the system's design and implementation. The software's quality, in terms of usability and functionality, was evaluated by 30 participants using a modified ISO 9126 evaluation instrument. Findings revealed that the system’s architectural design, features, and functionality effectively met user requirements, offering a highly intuitive and user-friendly interface. Moreover, the system demonstrated a high degree of efficiency and reliability in the rapid retrieval and printing of student records, thus enhancing service accessibility and convenience within educational institutions.
