FLUKA simulated study on the Effect of Density and Nuclearmass on Spallation Output and Energy spectra of Neutrons
The central purpose of the study is to determine what specific material properties correlate withdifferent spallation energies and neutron output. The Setup is entirely programmed and run onFLUKA a Monte Carlo simulator for particle physics. specifically what we want to determineis the trends relating to the energy spectra of spallation neutron beams from targets of differentelements, shapes, and geometries. The effect of increasing nuclear mass and atomic radii will bespecifically focused on.
