The Izaguirre Technogenic Void Hypothesis
This paper introduces the Izaguirre Technogenic Void Hypothesis (ITVH), a bold alternative to naturalistic explanations for the existence of vast cosmic voids such as the Boötes Void. It proposes that these regions may be the result of energy-intensive activities by highly advanced civilizations—potentially Type III or IV on the Kardashev scale. By considering large-scale energy harvesting, quantum manipulation, or experimental physics as causes for these voids, the ITVH addresses anomalies in void size, uniformity, and lack of energy signatures. The hypothesis integrates cosmological observations with astrobiological and technosignature frameworks, offering testable predictions for future studies in astrophysics and SETI.
