Natural Information and Characteristic Information: The Structural Mechanism of Information Generation
This article attempts to distinguish and unify the ontological meanings of “natural information” and “characteristic information” from the perspective of structural systems, and explores the mechanisms by which information is generated, translated, and mutated in the universe. The author proposes that information is not an independently existing entity, but a process of being perceived, constructed, and represented within structural systems. From this viewpoint, we can re-examine the limits of human cognition, the origins of misunderstanding, and the philosophical position of information.
