Hyper-Resolution Wireless Endoscopic Image Reconstruction via Adaptive Spatio-Temporal Filtering and Deep Generative Networks
**Abstract:** This paper introduces a novel approach to enhancing the resolution and image quality of wireless endoscopic video streams. Current wireless endoscopes are often limited by bandwidth constraints, resulting in degraded image resolution and artifacts. Our system, Adaptive Spatio-Temporal Filtering – Deep Generative Reconstruction (ASTF-DGR), combines a sophisticated spatio-temporal filtering architecture with a deep generative adversarial network (GAN) to reconstruct high-resolution, artifact-reduced images in real-time. We demonstrate a 10x improvement in perceived image resolution and a significant reduction in motion blur and noise compared to traditional interpolation and filtering methods. This technology directly addresses the need for improved diagnostic accuracy in minimally invasive procedures conducted with wireless endoscopes, minimizing invasiveness and improving patient outcomes. --- *This document is a part of the Freederia Research Archive.
