Oenologist or Winemaker Opinion Column

By the mid-20th century, oenology was officially recognized as a profession in Europe. However, our country was a pioneer in this field, led by Agricultural Engineer and Oenologist Ruy Barbosa, who, two years earlier in 1954, promoted the creation of the National Association of Agricultural Engineer Oenologists of Chile (ANIAE), achieving the legal and institutional certification of this profession in Chile.
