<b>Supplementary File 2A</b> presents the results of the enrichment analysis of Gene Ontology (GO) terms in the comparison of subcutaneous adipose tissue proteins from patients with severe obesity before metabolic bariatric surgery and controls without obesity. The data includes the pathway, p-value, adjusted p-value, the expected error for the standard deviation of the P-value logarithm (log2 error), enrichment score (ES), normalized enrichment score (NES), number of the pathway components found and included in the analysis (size), and proteins that drive the enrichment (leading edge). A positive ES and NES value in the table indicate an increased enrichment and a negative value decreased enrichment before surgery compared to the controls.
