How the Generalized Entropic Expansion Equation (GEEE) Describes the Deceleration and Acceleration of the Universe in the Absence of Dark Energy
In this work, we advance the Theory of Entropicity (ToE) based on earlier submissionsby proposing an entropy-driven modification to General Relativity (GR). We introduce theGeneralized Entropic Expansion Equation (GEEE) and demonstrate how it naturallydescribes both the deceleration and acceleration of the universe without invoking darkenergy. By leveraging entropy and thermodynamic principles, we show that the cosmo-logical constant can be replaced by a dynamically evolving entropy-driven term, emergingfrom the universe’s expansion. Furthermore, we derive modified Friedmann equations fromthe GEEE, revealing that cosmic acceleration arises as a natural thermodynamic conse-quence, rather than requiring exotic energy components. This framework challenges theconventional narrative, presenting entropy as the primary driver of cosmic evolutionand offering a profound resolution to the conceptual difficulties surrounding dark energy.
