Unified Tension Theory: A Symbolic Framework for Resonance, Dimensional Tension, and Fold-Driven Field Mechanics

Fold Misalignment Energy (FME) is introduced as a symbolic and measurable variable to unify atomic, molecular, and cosmological instability across dimensional and biological systems. Within the framework of the Unified Tension Theory (UTT), reality is modelled as a dynamic configuration of energy and structure, governed by the symbolic resonance condition E = 1—where folds, not particles, constitute the governing substrates of space, time, mass, and charge. The theory posits that all entities and interactions arise from the relative alignment or misalignment of fundamental fold structures across seven spatial dimensions and four tension tiers, generating measurable effects on entropy, coherence, and collapse. Employing a symbolic system derived from cross-field resonance equations, tier-coupling matrices, and symbolic-to-physical unit mappings, this paper presents a falsifiable structure that links core variables (Ξ, FME, ε, σ, Ψ) to known physical constants and simulation behaviours. Grounded in tiered hydrogen–carbon overlays and macro-matrix resonance maps, the model characterizes conditions for fold collapse, biological degradation, and structural restoration through symmetry realignment. This paper establishes the foundation of a broader Codex aiming to redefine quantum and cosmological mechanics through symbolic resonance and applied dimensional tension logic.
