Abstract: This study delves into the financial management practices of District Central Co-operative Banks (DCCBs) in the Marathwada region. DCCBs play a crucial role in rural financial intermediation, particularly in agrarian economies like Marathwada. The research aims to analyze the financial management strategies employed by these banks to effectively serve their members and promote rural development. Through a comprehensive literature review and empirical analysis, this study examines various aspects of financial management, including loan portfolio management, investment decisions, risk management practices, and governance structures.
