The Charm of AEC for Future Global Tourism
The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is cool because it brings Southeast Asian economies together, which could really change how tourism works around the world. Since 2015, the AEC has pushed for teamwork by making it easier to move goods, services, investments, and skilled workers between countries. This has some big effects on how tourism grows. This paper looks at how the AEC helps tourism by making trade simpler, encouraging investment, boosting cultural exchange, and upgrading infrastructure in the area. Looking back, we can see how ASEAN's teamwork turned into a game-changing economic group. Current economic plans under the AEC help tourism grow by knocking down barriers, making rules consistent, and pulling in investment for infrastructure. Plus, pushing cultural heritage, festivals, and local events shows how important culture is for drawing in tourists. Transportation and places to stay are key to better connecting everyone and boosting what Southeast Asia can handle. In the end, the AEC puts Southeast Asia in a spot to be a lively, connected place for tourists. It could even lead the way in global tourism by being open to everyone, keeping things sustainable, and offering awesome cultural experiences.
