Conflict is ubiquitous. In the contemporary world of dependency and interdependency, we have tolive with it. Competition, cooperation, and conflict will remain essential components ofregional and global emerging order. Confronted with such an emerging world where doesPakistan stand on the issue of Kashmir. This paper will first examine the historical sources ofthe Kashmir dispute and then move on to examine the Musharraf formula to resolve whatappears to be the never-ending Conflict of Kashmir. We shall use the third-party interventionmodel to examine the possibility of resolving the conflict.
